Wind Ensemble 2010
The "Honor Band of the Carolinas" invites students from all
North and South Carolina regional public and private schools to
audition.
This outstanding honors band, now in its 19th season, includes many
All-District and All-State musicians from both North and South Carolina.
This group is conducted by Director of Bands at UNC-Charlotte,
Dr. Laurence Marks.
AUDITIONS:
Auditions for the 2010 Charlotte Youth Wind Ensemble will be held at
UNC-Charlottes Robinson Hall for the Performing Arts
on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 12, 2009

Rehearsals are held on Tuesday evenings at UNC-Charlotte (7:00-9:15 pm) for
two months.
Three concerts are then presented in the Charlotte metropolitan area.
The Charlotte Youth Wind Ensemble conducts a concerto
competition each year, with the winning student performing as featured
soloist.
Performances will be held at the following locations on selected dates:

MONDAY, MARCH 1, 2010, 7:30 pm
